Are Media has acquired Australian e-commerce company Hard to Find.
Hard to Find is a product marketplace that focuses on innovative designs from small, creative businesses across Australia.
Founded in 2008 by former media executive Erica Stewart, who becomes managing director of Hard to Find, the site brings together a curated community of product designers and craftspeople as well as consumers looking for something unique, creating a more personal shopping experience between manufacturer and customer.
Commercial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The acquisition significantly expands Are Media’s existing content commerce capabilities, bolstering its revenue diversification strategy.
Hard to Find joins Are Media’s digital brand communities, including beautyheaven and Bounty Parents.
