What will become of the old Pier One in Toms River?
It was a favorite that my wife and I loved to go browse and now we’re losing them. Pier One was a great store to browse and see if you could find a unique item for the house.
First, we lost our Manahawkin store in Southern Ocean County and more recently they closed the Toms River site in the Seacourt Lodge, so now the question is what would be a good option to replace the Toms River site? ?
The Seacourt Pavillion is a nice shopping center and conveniently located on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, across from the Ocean County Mall. So what would you like to see in this location?
I’m not even sure the Monmouth County locations are still open so we might not have Pier One left to visit.
Do we want another “home decor” type store or would you like to see something else? It seems a shame that this prime location remains empty. We have to put our heads together and find a solution.
So in Toms River the question is, what do you want in this place, a chain store or something with a more local feel? Hard to know what the residents are missing and what you might want to see move in …. post your comments below and let us know what you think
